The A-OK (Assisting Our Kids), a mentoring/tutoring program sponsored by the congregations at The Meeting House, is seeking volunteers. They are looking to place volunteers at various middle/elementary schools in Howard County. The volunteers will work with students one-on-one or in a small group to provide tutoring and mentorship. The hours vary, 1 - 2 hours a week as late as 5:45 pm. No special skills are required, just an interest in children and youth and the willingness to commit to one hour per week for one school year. Please call Chaya Kaplan at 443 393-1913, if interested.

Cooking for Grassroots: CJC has volunteered to provide dinner for the Grassroots Homeless Shelter in Columbia on the fourth Sunday of every month.
